Ed decides to leave his life in Barcelona to take a trip to the United States to follow his childhood dream of becoming a filmmaker there. Close to turning 40, and with his wedding just around the corner, he realizes that his life has not worked out as he had planned. An identity crisis begins which makes him leave everything and try to make his childhood dream —the American dream— come true.
