Nicole Kidman, Colin Firth and Mark Strong star in director Rowan Joffe's psychological thriller, based on SJ Watson's bestselling novel. Every morning, Christine Lucas wakes to find she has no knowledge of who the man lying next to her is, nor her location, nor why she looks considerably older than 26. The man says he's her husband Ben and explains that, due to injuries sustained in a car crash, she suffers from psychogenic amnesia and has consequently lost all memory of the previous 14 years. In fact, Christine is being treated by a neuropsychologist called Dr Nasch, who phones her daily to encourage her to record a video diary in the hope that it will help her to rebuild her memories. And it works, partially. But, as each fragment of her past surfaces, she begins to question both of the men's identities and motives.
